Back - briefly
Crikey, I can't quite believe that 2 and a half months have gone by since I last posted! As you can imagine, things have been pretty busy.
So, here we are with just two weeks to go. We're making good progress and the only two major things that are still outstanding are the export licence for the animals (DEFRA are waiting on the route plan from the livestock haulier and he is currently in Romania) and confirmation from the notaire that everything is ready for us to complete the purchase on the 31st. I really hope there are no last minute hiccups from either of these - everything is organised for us to leave here on the 29th and I just can't bring myself to think about what we do if the date has to be moved. Staying positive for now though, and fingers crossed these two things will be sorted this week.
I think it's fair to say that we pretty much think about nothing but the move at the moment. Eddie has to go off to Chester this afternoon for his final "proper" job and he's been finding it very difficult to turn his attention to that when there is so much going on here. Still, from this Thursday on he'll be able to devote all his time to the move.
I hope I'll be able to make one last post before we go, but if not I'll be back once we're there and have sorted out our internet connection. After the 28th I may not be able to read your blogs and leave comments but I'll catch up with you all as soon as I can!
